Home Information Packs (HIPS)

As we know the Government introduced Home Information Packs for all houses coming onto the market with three or more bedrooms.  Essentially a Home Information Pack or HIP is a collection of paperwork aimed at speeding up the house selling process.  What is contained terms of sale, evidence of title, planning details and an Energy Performance Certificate.  We would be happy to talk through with you all of this in more detail, just ask.

At Mortgage Options we can help you arrange this and crucially we can offer you a HIP which is independent of estate agent, therefore if you wish to move your house from one estate agent to another then you can take the HIP with you.  With most estate agent’s HIPs, if you move from them to another estate agent you must buy another HIP with the new estate agent thus costing you double!
